Project Description

QeCAD was tasked with developing the model for a residential project and played a crucial role in ensuring a clash-free design through detailed coordination and reporting. QeCAD created a comprehensive model and identified numerous coordination issues by utilizing RFIs (Requests for Information) and clash detection reports. These findings were shared with relevant stakeholders, who were responsible for reviewing and redesigning the elements to resolve conflicts and achieve a seamless design.

Challenges Encountered: The roof truss structure posed significant challenges due to the complex network of mechanical ducts passing through it. Ensuring proper placement and spacing for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) services was essential to prevent interference and ensure smooth operation.

Achievements: QeCAD provided detailed development of the truss system in conjunction with the mechanical services. The team conducted thorough clash detection to pinpoint potential conflicts. Through persistent coordination and multiple rounds of adjustments, QeCAD successfully resolved numerous clashes during the clash coordination, ensuring that the final design is both functional and clash-free.
